Final Reflection: English Composition III

Posted by Yu Tung, 01.16.2022
English Composition III is quite different from other composition courses I have taken before. In English Composition I&II, we only wrote the drafts, did some peer reviews, and learned some grammars and vocabulary words. Also, we do the same things in this semester; however, those tasks are combined with computer science. I have learned how to set a WIX website.

Honestly, I am a computer illiterate. Therefore, when the professor told us that we had to set our own website to upload our essays in the beginning of the semester, I was afraid of failing this course. I remember that the first time I spent 1 hour to complete one draft and then spent 3 hour to design the website. Fortunately, thanks for Dr.Sherry and TA Linda’s instructions, it is not as strenuous as I thought at first. Now, I am familiar with designing a reader-friendly page.

Next, I have an Instagram account to share my works, but it is just proper to share pictures. WIX website has more functions than Instagram, so it is a great chance for me to build another personal blog. We are free to choice our journal topics; thus, I can post anything I want to share like what I did on Instagram. By the way, I am happy to have the readers from NCUE, and I look forward to receiving their comments.

To sum up, in the beginning, learning how to create an e-portfolio was difficult for me, and I even wanted to give up. However, after receive in the professor and TA’s instruction, I think I have acquired a useful skill. It may be beneficial when I enter the workforce. Because I look forward to receiving and reading other peers’ comments, I enjoy writing and designing the e-portfolio. I will keep to write more interesting articles and update this website. (I hope so.)
